October 28-31, 2005: Texas Book Festival, Austin, Texas featuring Lemony Snicket, Bill Clinton and me! We’re not sharing a booth, but we’re all authors there signing our books.

October 8, 2005: SCBWI Conference in Austin, TX on the 8th, critique with David Caplan of Harper Collins Publishing

September 2005: Repeat visits to Dentist inspire The Other Tooth Fairy story

August, 2005: Wrap up design work with National Education Advisory Committee.

July, 2005: Artist of the Month at Barnes & Noble, and Special Guest at the Midnight Magic Release Party of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I co-organized the party and had an Artist Reception that featured refreshments, demonstrations, games, and art instruction for children. The art show featuring owls nearly sold out, as well.

Later in June, 2005: Blooming Tree realizes I’ve also got my own picture book and decide to publish Little Bunny Kung Fu
June, 2005: Blooming Tree Press contacts me to illustrate Kichi in Jungle Jeopardy
-Began talks and work with National Education Advisory Committee on designing a framework chart for their research

May, 2005: Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators “Picture This” group art show

April, 2005: Regan realized how woefully behind she is on “R Magazine” and decides to start a blog and make the “R Magazine” a quarterly feature

February 26, 2005: Fundraising Benefit for Zachary Scott Theater. My Mad Hatter piece was the cover art for their program and my husband and I where given tickets to the event. The music hall’s decorations and entertainment where all inspired by the artwork I created for them.

Oct 2004: A new issue of R Magazine and the long awaited Holiday Catalog!

Aug 2004: The first issue of R Magazine hits the virtual newstand!

July 2004: New digs! The site is now officially ReganJohnson.com!

June 2004: Update of New Website, including new illustrations, links, updated resume, and new design portfolio

June 2004: Featured Artist at the Arboretum Barnes & Noble
